Obituary of Perry, Madeleyne Mary
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital , Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, December 11th , 2009 of Madeleyne Mary Perry of Summerside , aged 87 years. Madeleyne was born on July 30th , 1922 in Summerside to her late parents Arthur & Roseanna ( nee Blacquiere ) Perry.
Survived by her sister Mildred Gallant of Summerside and her very special friend and care-giver Jean Coughlin of Richmond. Also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Madeleyne was predeceased by her sister Edna and brothers Freddie, Joseph and Cedric.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, December 15th for funeral mass at St. Paul's Church, Summerside at 10:30 a.m. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Monday afternoon only , 2 - 4 p.m. . Memorial donations in Madeleyne's memory to the P.E.I. Hospice Association would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
