Obituary of Gallant, Ronald Francis
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Thursday , August 6th,2009 of Ronald Francis Gallant of Miscouche & formerly of Kensington, P.E.I., aged 57 years. Ronnie was born on August 17th , 1951 in Greenvale, P.E.I. to his late parents Edward & Mabel ( nee Arsenault ) Gallant.
Lovingly remembered by his common law wife , Juliette Squarebriggs, his daughter Lori ( Darrell ) White of Millet, Alberta and her mother Lillian Ingles of Lower Sackville, N.S. and his special grandson Zachary White. Survived by his sister Mildred ( Junior ) Paynter of North Bay, Ontario and many nieces, nephews, brothers & sisters-in-law and cousins.
Besides his parents, Ronnie was predeceased by brothers Leroy, Arnold & Francis and half-sister Angie MacDonald.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday, August 10th,2009 for a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. . Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Ronnie's memory to Maritime Asthma & Respiratory Care would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
