Obituary of Boyles, Ruth Eleanor
The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside on Monday, June 22nd, 2009 of Ruth Eleanor Boyles ( nee Ramsay ) of Summerside , aged 87 years. Ruth was born on January 1st , 1922 in Port Hill, P.E.I. to her late parents, Colin & Myrtle ( nee Lidstone ) Boyles.
Beloved wife of the late Ambrose Boyles. Loving mother of Arnold Ramsay of Ont., Diane (Rudy) Palovick of Alberta, Cecil of B.C., Debra Burgoyne of S'side, Donald (Brenda) of West Devon & David of S'side. Also lovingly remembered by her 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother & sisters : Sally Wiltshire of Ont., Bertha Risteen of N.S., Norma Currie of N.B., & Cecil (Emily) Ramsay of S'side & her brother-in-law Albert (Betty) Boyles of West Devon.
Besides her husband & her parents , Ruth was predeceased by her son Jimmy, her sister Blanche Deighan and her brothers-in-law Leonard Deighan, Raymond Risteen, Marcel Roberts, Ernest Waite & Louis Currie.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, June 25th, for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. . Interment to take place in West Devon Baptist Cemetery. Memorial donations in Ruth's memory to the I.W.K. Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m..

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
