Obituary of Arsenault, John Joseph
The death occurred suddenly at the Parkhill Place Summerside, on Wednesday, June 10th , 2009 of John Joseph Arsenault of Summerside, P.E.I. aged 56 years. John was born in Summerside, on August 23rd , 1952 to his parents Louise Arsenault (nee Doucette) and the late Arthur Arsenault.
Beloved father of Tammy Gaudet of Etobicoke, Ont. & Jason Gaudet of Alberta. Survived by his brother & sisters Phyllis Cormier (Raymond Chaisson) of Miscouche, Bennett (Bev) of Kensington & Eileen (Nelson) Arsenault of Oshawa, Ont..Also lovingly remembered by his grandsons Dylan & Deion Gaudet & several nieces & nephews.
Besides his father, John was predeceased by his nephew Bennett John Arsenault.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Saturday June 13th , 2009 then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Memorial donations in John's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
