Obituary of Warren, Nora Josephine
The death occurred suddenly at the Health Science Centre, Halifax, N.S. on Wednesday, April 29th , 2009 of Nora Josephine Warren ( nee McCarville ) of Kinkora , aged 49 years.
Beloved wife of David Warren. Also lovingly remembered by her son Jeffery of S'side, her parents Ambrose & Irene ( nee Greenan ) McCarville of Kinkora, her grandson Robbie Warren , her mother-in-law Florence Warren of S'side, along with several brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces & nephews. Survived by her brothers & sisters : Clarence ( Maxine ) McCarville of Shamrock, Arlene MacCormack of Borden, Barry ( Ellen ) McCarville of Shamrock, Clair ( Kathy ) McCarville of Calgary, Ab., Maureen McCarville ( Dean Campbell ) of Cornwall & Randy McCarville ( Shelley Arsenault ) of Freetown.
Nora was predeceased by her father-in-law Daniel Warren & brothers-in-law Chris MacCormack & Danny Warren.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home , 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, May 2nd , 2009 then to St. Malachy's Church , Kinkora for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Nora's memory to the Children's Wish Foundation or the I.W.K. Children's Hospital would be greatly accepted. Visiting hours on Friday , 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. .

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
