Obituary of England, Ronald Alfred
The death occurred peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital , Saint John , N.B. on Sunday, April 5th , 2009 of Ronald Alfred England of Summerside & formerly of Bideford , P.E.I. , aged 70 years. Ron was born on July 15th , 1938 in Summerside, P.E.I. to his late parents, Winston & Jean ( nee MacLean ) England.
Beloved husband of Ernestine ( nee Steele ) England & loving father of Tara of Borden, P.E.I. & Tyler of Edmonton , Alberta. Also lovingly remembered by his step-mother Blanche England of S'side, his sister Ernestine Gay ( Ren Hillier ) of Toronto, On. & his nephews Scott & Paul Hillier.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home , 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday, April 13th , 2009 for funeral mass at St. Paul's Church, Summerside at 10:30 a.m. . Interment to take place in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Bideford at a later date. Memorial donations in Ron's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Summerset Manor Dialysis Unit would be greatly accepted.
By personal request there will be no visiting hours held .

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
