Obituary of Williams, Maude Lorrene

The death occurred peacefully & surrounded by family members at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, January 14th, 2009 of Maude Lorrene Williams ( nee Savidant ) of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 80 years. Maude was born on January 12th , 1929 in Charlottetown, P.E.I. to her late parents Vince & Mary Ann ( nee Bernard ) Savidant. Beloved wife of the late Ernest M. Williams & loving mother of Jim ( Gloria McKinnon ) of S'side. Also lovingly remembered by her granddaughters Yolande Williams of Toronto, On. & Lise Williams of Moncton, N.B., along with their mother Yvonne Gallant & numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. Survived by her sisters Gertrude Trainor of S'side, Theresa ( Keith ) Aldrich of On., Marie Richard of On. & her sister-in-law Mildred Savidant of S'side. Besides her husband & her parents, Maude was predeceased by her sisters & brothers : Laura ( Leo ) Roy, Vincent Savidant, Frank ( Freda ) Savidant, Doris ( Harry ) Poulton, Florence ( Frank ) Clow, Leonard ( Joan ) Savidant , her brothers-in-law Emmett Trainor & Alcide Richard and her nephews Billy Poulton , Claude & Freeman Vessey. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home , 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, January 17th , 2009 then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 2:00 p.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours on Friday , 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m..
