Obituary of Cameron, Lloyd David
?The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, January 1st, 2009 of 'Lloyd' David Cameron of Miscouche, P.E.I. and formally of Wellington Center, aged 73 years. Lloyd was born on November 28th, 1935 in Wellington Center, P.E.I. to his late parents John Edward & Bernice ( nee Shreenan ) Cameron.
Beloved husband of the late Faustina ( nee Blacquiere ) Cameron and loving father of Leatha ( Clarence ) Dupis of Moncton, N.B., John ( Tanya ) , Joe and Kenny ( Lisa ) all of Miscouche. Also lovingly remembered by his grandsons Spencer, Scott & Sam, his grand daughter Skylar and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers & sisters: Leo ( Wendy ) of Port Hope, Ont., Harold ( Melina ) of Wellington Center, Marion ( Joe ) Gillis of Bayside & Eleanor Breau of S'side.
Besides his wife and parents, Lloyd was predeceased by his brothers: Urban, Austin, Earl, Alden, Ralph & Gordon in infancy and by his sister Blanche Praught.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home , 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, January 5th, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 10:30 A.M.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours on Sunday, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m.. Memorial donations in Lloyd's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Comrades of The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 18, Miscouche will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6:30 P.M..

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
