Obituary of Arsenault, Adrien Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, November 7th , 2008 of Adrien Joseph Arsenault of Summerside and formerly of St. Catherine's, On. , aged 75 years. Adrien was born in Egmont Bay , P.E.I. on May 2nd , 1933 to his late parents Sylvere & Loretta ( nee Bernard ) Arsenault.
Beloved husband of the late Shirley Ann ( nee Robillard ) Arsenault & loving father of Alan ( Maria ) of Calgary, Ab.,Nancy ( Robert ) Rix of Kincardine, On. & Michael ( Kara ) of Vancouver, B.C. . Also lovingly remembered by his 5 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Survived by his brothers Leo ( Ellen ) of S'side & Louis ( Janet ) of S'side.
Besides his wife & his parents , Adrien was predeceased by his brother Cyrus.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home , 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday,November 10th , 2008 for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. . Interment to take place in St. Philippe & St. Jacques Cemetery, Egmont Bay.
Visiting hours on Saturday evening only, 7 - 9 p.m..
Memorial donations in Adrien's memory to the P.E.I. Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
