Obituary of Wright, Wyman Frederick
The death occurred at his late residence , on Monday, October 27th ,2008 of Wyman Frederick Wright of Middleton , P.E.I. , aged 64 years. Wyman was born in Summerside, September 7th , 1944 to his parents, Olga ( nee Walsh ) and the late Charles Wright.
Beloved husband of Sherry ( nee Bent ) Wright and loving father of Ryan ( Lynn ) of Middleton and Jean & Sandra of Halifax, N.S. . Also lovingly remembered by his mother Olga Wright of Middleton , his mother-in-law Katharina Bent of S'side ,his brother-in-law Eric ( Arlene ) Bent of Mt.Uniacke, N.S. and several very special nieces & nephews. Survived by his brothers Morley ( Bonnie ) of Fall River, N.S.,Garth ( Metta ) of Borden, Barry ( Nancy ) of Whitby , On., Brian of Middleton and Dean ( Kelley ) of S'side.
Besides his father Charles, Wyman was predeceased by his sister-in-law Laurie Wright.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, October 31st , 2008 then to the Bedeque United Church for funeral service at 2:00 p.m. . Visiting hours on Thursday , 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. . Memorial donations in Wyman's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
