Obituary of Wedge-Gallant, Annie " Nancy " Mary

The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside on Wednesday, February 27th , 2008 of Annie 'Nancy' Mary Wedge-Gallant ( nee Jerrior ) of Summerside and formerly of St. Louis , aged 92 years. Annie was born in St. Louis, P.E.I. on April 12th , 1915 to her late parents, Alcide & Mary Louise ( nee Bernard )Jerrior. Beloved wife of the late Dougald J. Wedge and also her second husband Ben Gallant. Loving mother of Arthur ( Mae ) Wedge of On. , Josie Gallant of On. and Loretta ( Victor )Schmidt ( DeChamp ) of S'side. Also lovingly remembered by her 30 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren , 31 great-great-grandchildren & several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents & husbands , Annie was predeceased by her daughters Eva Gallant & Doreen Clow, her son-in-law Alfred Gallant & brothers & sisters. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road,Summerside until Saturday, March 1st , 2008 then to the Immaculate Conception Church , Palmer Road for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Annie's memory to the Wedgewood Manor Equipment Fund or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday, February 29th 3 - 5 p.m. at the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside and then transferred to the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours 7 - 9 p.m. .
