Obituary of Lantz, Orrin Harding
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Thursday, January 31st,2008 of Orrin Harding Lantz of Summerside, aged 79 years. Orrin was born in Centrelea , N.S. on March 28th , 1928 to his late parents , Hubert & Irene ( nee Harding ) Lantz.
Beloved husband of Eileen ( nee Whiting ) Lantz and loving father of Theresa Chace of S'side ( Alfred Gallant of St. Timothy ), Pearl ( Allan ) Green of Shearwater, N.S., David ( Barry ) of Bathurst , N.B. and Ray ( Erika ) of Moncton, N.B. . Also lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren : Brad, Lauren, Laurie, Sarah, Josie and Kate and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his sister Phyllis Chute of N.S. and his brother Gordon of Ont..
Besides his parents , Orrin was predeceased by his sister Ethel Rafuse.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday , February 4th, 2008 then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date.Memorial donations in Orrin's memory to the East Prince Right to Life Association would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
