Obituary of Gaudet, Edwin Louis
The death occurred suddenly as a result of an automotive accident in Moncton N.B. on Thursday, November 29th , 2007 of 'Edwin' Louis Gaudet of Moncton N.B. and formerly of Bedeque P.E.I. , aged 69 years. Edwin was born in Bedeque PEI on April 18th , 1938, to his late parents , Horace and Mary Ellen (nee Arsenault) Gaudet. Edwin is survived by his friend Jeanette, Moncton, his sister Ruby Gallant and his brother Albert both of Charlottetown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents , Edwin was predeceased by his brothers Elmer, Walter, Ivan, Frederick, and George, his sisters Lillian and Blanche and by his step-brothers Austin and Leonard Avery and his grand-niece Alicia Gallant (Nov 20, 2007).
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Monday, then to St. Peter's Church, Seven Mile Bay for funeral mass at 2:00 p.m.. Visiting hours on Sunday , 7-9 P.M. only. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donation's in Edwin's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
