Obituary of Arsenault, Nancy Mary
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Tuesday, October 23rd , 2007 of Nancy Mary Arsenault ( nee Luce ) of Sheen St., Summerside & formerly of Bedeque , aged 61 years. Nancy was born in Summerside , P.E.I. on April 25th , 1946 to her parents, the late James & Bernadette ( nee Gallant ) Luce.
Beloved wife of Stanley Arsenault & loving mother of Paul ( Sherri )& Donald , all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her grandsons Logan & Cameron Arsenault and several nieces & nephews. Survived by the following brothers & sisters : Judy Gallant of S'side,Wanda Connolly of S'side, Paul ( Diane ) Luce of Bedeque & Dennis ( Yvonne )Luce of On..
Besides her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her sisters Betty Luce, Diana Luce, Lorraine ( Francis ) Caissie and her brothers-in-law Alder Gallant & Channing Connolly.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday , October 25th , for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery,Summerside. Memorial donations in Nancy's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday evening only ,7 - 9 p.m..

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
