Obituary of Christopher, Mary " Elizabeth "

The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside on Tuesday, October 9th , 2007 of Mary 'Elizabeth' Christopher ( nee Hippenstall ) , formerly of Ottawa St.,Summerside , aged 83 years. Elizabeth was born in Summerside, P.E.I. on February 10th , 1924 to her parents, the late James & Eliza ( nee Gallant )Hippenstall. Beloved wife of Ernest of S'side & loving mother of Shirley Fell of On. and Charlie ( Anne ) of S'side. Also lovingly remembered by her 6 grandchildren Roxanne , Betty, Rick, Lea, Jennifer & Karl , her 11 great-grandchildren , her brother-in-law Lester MacAusland of S'side and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers : Anthony ( Noreen )Hippenstall, Tony ( Sandra ) Hippenstall, Bobby ( Lorraine ) Hippenstall & Wilbert Hippenstall,all living in Summerside. Besides her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her son-in-law Bill Fell, her brother Edward ( Ethel ) Hippenstall, her sisters Daisy ( Wally ) Strongman, Doris MacAusland , Mary ( Bill ) Faulkner and her sister-in-law Theresa Hippenstall. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday , October 12th ,then to St. Paul's Church for funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Elizabeth's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday evening only , 7 - 9 p.m..
