Obituary of Perry, Rose Mary
The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside on Tuesday, August 14th, 2007 surrounded by family in body & spirit of Rose Mary Perry ( nee Arsenault ),formerly of 536 Sheen St., Summerside , aged 86 years. Rose was born in St. Felix, P.E.I. on October 9, 1920 to her parents, the late Urban & Exzelia Arsenault . Beloved wife of the late John Peter Perry.
Loving mother of Marie ( Gilles ) Plourde of Quebec, Alcide ( Faye )of S'side, Cyril ( Phyllis Sloan )of Amherst, N.S., Donald ( Sheila ) of S'side, Irene ( Wayne ) Bernard of Sherbrooke, Stephen ( Donna ) of Ch'town, John ( JoAnne ) of S'side, Linda ( Wayne ) Doucette of St. Eleanors, Betty ( Kenny ) Waite of Sherbrooke,Kevin ( John Pickering ) of B.C. and daughter-in-law Mary Perry of Moncton, N.B.. Also lovingly remembered by her 24 grandchildren,20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her brother Dennis ( Joan ) Arsenault of Cape Breton, N.S. and the following brothers & sisters-in-law : Evelyn Arsenault, Mary Anne( Richard ) Nelligan, Doris Perry, Margaret Perry , Henry Perry, Aubain Perry all of Tignish and Alphonse( Althea ) Perry of Fredericton, N.B. .
Besides her husband and her parents, Rose was predeceased by her son Alfred, her daughter Anne Perry, her brothers Henry , Paul ( Celine ) , Andrew ( Phyllis ) & Raymond and her sister Stella Bourque.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, August 18th , then to St. Paul's Church ,S'side for funeral mass at 10:00 am. Visiting hours on Friday, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Roses' memory to the Wedgewood Manor Equipment Fund or the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
