Obituary of Parker, Theresa Elizabeth
The death occurred suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital,Charlottetown as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday,July 10th of Theresa Elizabeth Parker ( nee Arsenault ) of Summerside and formerly of Waterloo, On., aged 76 years. Theresa was born on June 20th , 1931 in Summerside, P.E.I. to her parents, the late Joseph A. & Josephine ( nee Richards ) Arsenault.
Beloved wife of Derek Parker and step-mother of Angela (Otto) Giambalvo, St. Mary's On. and step-grandmother of Sarah, Jessica and Katelyn. Loving mother of Bob Winslow of Kitchener, On. , Arthur ( Sheri ) Winslow of Waterloo, On. and Randy ( Deane ) Winslow of Waterloo, On. . Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Nichole, Samantha, Jayme, Geoff and Katie. Survived by her sisters Elaine Scanlan of West Brookfield, Mass. U.S.A. and Joyce ( Norman ) Quinn of Miscouche, P.E.I..
Besides her husband & her parents , Theresa was predeceased by her sister Janet Greene & also her sister Diana Cunningham at the time of her death.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd.,Summerside until Monday, July 16th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. . Visiting hours on Sunday evening only , 7 - 9 p.m. . Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside.
Memorial donations in Theresa's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
