Obituary of Arsenault, Joyce Cecilia
?Arsenault : The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, July 1st , 2007 of 'Joyce' Cecilia Arsenault ( nee Noonan ) of 225 Linden Ave. Summerside , aged 72 years. Loving daughter of Emma (Laughlin) Noonan and the late Ray Noonan and loving mother of Marie Champion, Darlene (Garth) Matthew, Michael (Carol) Arsenault and Ann Arsenault all of Summerside and Sharon (Eddie) Strongman of St. Timothy and 12 grand-children. She is also survived by her sister Catherine (Bob) Flower of Toronto and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her father Ray, she was predeceased by her son Eric and her son-in-law Donnie Champion.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home until Wednesday for Memorial Service at 11:00 am. No visiting hours. Interment in St. Peters Cemetery, Seven Mile Bay. Memorial donations in Joyce's memory to palliative care at Prince County Hospital would be appreciated. In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
