Obituary of Bethell, Mary Helen "Lilly"

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, April 21th , 2007 of Mary Helen 'Lilly' Bethell (nee Gallant), aged 94 years. Lilly was a resident of Andrews' Lodge, and a longtime resident of Summerside. Lilly was born in Ipswich Mass. USA, to her parents Antoine and Celina Gallant and raised on P.E.I. by her grandparents Maxime and Mary Rose Arsenault, Cape Egmont. Dear wife of the late Levi Gallant and her second husband the late Walter Bethell. She is survived by her sons, Ulric (Rosalie), Miscouche, Robert (Shirley), Vancouver, and Paul (Virginia), Orlando, Florida. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Michael, Gregory, Paulette, Jeffrey, Peter, Lisa, Sherry, Marc, Andre by her great-grandchildren: Alex, Allison, Dylan, Adam, Dexter, Cassie, Gracie, Levi, Kendra, Zachary, Christina and Riley, and several nieces and nephews. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home , 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, April 25th then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 A.M. Memorial donations in Lilly's memory to St. Paul's Cemetery Fund or to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Interment to take place at a later date in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Tuesday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M.. St. Paul's CWL will hold a prayer service for their late sister at 3:45 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
