Obituary of Duncan, Madeline Dawn
The death occurred after a courageous battle with cancer at the Toronto Sick Children's Hospital, Toronto Ontario on Monday ,February 5th,2007 of Madeline Dawn Duncan of Borden-Carleton, aged 9 years. Beloved daughter of Scott Duncan, Kelly Duncan of Borden-Carleton ( Roy Bell ) of Ontario. Loving sister to Cody and granddaughter to Betty Duncan of Augustine Cove, Julie Kelly of S'side and Preston ( Cindy ) Deegan of Amherst, N.S. . Also lovingly remembered by her great-grandmother Nanny Patch of Amherst, N.S. , along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Predeceased by her grandfather Don Duncan.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd.,Summerside until Saturday, then to the Bedeque United Church, Bedeque for a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.. Interment to take place in the Cape Traverse United Church Cemetery. Memorial donations in Madeline's memory to the I.W.K. Children's Hospital or the Toronto Sick Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday , 2 - 4 & 6 - 9 p.m. .

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
