Obituary of Murray, Thomas Errol
The death occurred suddenly at his late residence on Friday ,January 19th , 2007 of Thomas Errol Murray of Summerside, aged 69 years. Tom was born in Augustine Cove, P.E.I. on September 2nd , 1937 to his parents James & Marie ( nee Malone ) Murray.
He is survived by his son Mark ( Tracey ) and grandson Jared of Calgary,Ab. . Also left to mourn are his brothers Jack ( Edie ) of Edmonton, Ab.,Gerald ( Myrna ) of Cape Traverse, his sisters Betty Richard, Ruth ( Emmett ) Adam and Elaine ( Frank ) Murphy all of Ontario and sisters-in-law Helen Murray of Borden-Carleton and Iris Murray of Bowmanville, On. .
Besides his parents, Tom was predeceased by brothers Mervin, Arnold, Louis and Justin.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home,245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, January 24th then to St. Peter's Church, Seven Mile Bay for a funeral mass at 2:00 p.m.. ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
