Obituary of Huestis, Kenneth Wayne
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Sunday , December 3rd , 2006 of Kenneth Wayne Huestis of 1400 Linkletter Rd.,Summerside , aged 81 years. Ken was born in Summerside, P.E.I. to his parents Roy & Lillian ( nee Smallman ) Huestis on May 3rd , 1925.
Beloved husband of Claire ( nee Perry ) Huestis and loving father of James ( Theresa ) of Halifax, N.S., Alex ( Jane ) of Innsville,On., Harold ( Trish ) of Innsville, On. & Eldon of Mississauga, On..Also lovingly remembered by his 7 grandchildren, his brothers Earl ( Lorraine ) of B.C.,Thomas of S'side and his sister Anita Graham of Montreal, Que..
Predeceased by his brothers Roy and Eldon and his sisters Bertha Perry & Eileen Gallagher.
By family request, there will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Ken's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
