Obituary of Arsenault, Leona Mary

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital,Summerside on Wednesday, October 25th, 2006 of Leona Mary Arsenault of 90 Cedar Street, Summerside, aged 83years. Leona was born in Wellington on March 23rd , 1923 to her parents , the late Emile and Angelina ( nee Poirier ) Arsenault. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Arsenault. Dear mother of Judy (late Reggie)Collicutt, Summerside; Connie Oakes (Dave Whynacht) Bridgewater, NS; Gordie, Ronnie, Gary (Monica) all of Summerside. Lovingly remembered by nine grandchildren,13 great-grandchildren;a sister Marion Smith,St.Eleanors and brother Tilmon Arsenault, Wellington. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces & nephews. Besides her husband and her parents, Leona was predeceased by her sisters Margaret and Julia in infancy, son-in-law Reggie Collicutt, brother-in-law George Smith, and sister-in-law Anna Arsenault. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home , 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday October 28th, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Friday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. . Donations in Leona's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
