Obituary of Gallant, Delima Mary
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital,Summerside on Monday, September 4th, 2006 of Delima Mary Gallant ( nee Gallant ) of Summerside,aged 72 years. Delima was born in Tignish , P.E.I. on August 31st , 1934 to her late parents, Joseph & Denise ( nee Arsenault ) Gallant. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Gallant.
Loving mother of Calvin ( Cyrstal ) of Travellers Rest, Leo ( Betty ) of Tignish,Gordon( Laurie )of S'side, Norman ( Linda )of S'side and Theresa ( Mike ) of Stratford. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Ryan, Brent, Kate-Lynn, Lisa, Sheena, Keshia, Amber, Abby, Spencer & Jordon and her two great grandchildren Brianna & Paige. Survived by her sisters Phyllis, Jennette & Elmira and her sisters-in-law Marie & Rita.
Besides her husband and her parents , she was predeceased by her brothers Jude , Jerry & Eloi , her sister Alma and her brothers -in-law Chester, William, Ralph & Phillip.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, for a funeral mass at St. Paul's Church ,Summerside at 2:00 P.M. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Delima's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the P.E.I. Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday,
2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. .

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
