Obituary of Gaudet, Charles Joseph
The death occurred at his late residence on Friday, September 1st , 2006 of Charlie J. Gaudet of Mt. Uniacke, N.S. and formerly off Summerside , aged 54 years.Charlie was born in Summerside , P.E.I. on May 18th , 1952 to his parents, Leonard & Mary ( nee Perry ) Gaudet.
Beloved husband of Beverley ( nee Smith ) Gaudet and loving father of Jim & Christine ( Stephen Cseh ) . Survived by his sisters Bernadette ( Jim ) Isles of Mt. Uniacke, N.S. and Dianne ( Chesley ) MacAusland of New Annan,his father & mother-in-law George & Marion Smith of S'side,along with several nieces & nephews.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home,245 Pope Rd.,Summerside until Tuesday, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 10:30 A.M.Interment to take place in the church cemetery . Visiting hours on Monday evening only, 6 - 9 P.M. . Memorial donations in Charlie's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
