Obituary of Gaudet, Henry Wilfred
The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside on Thursday, July 27th , 2006 of Henry Wilfred Gaudet , formerly of 322 Poplar Ave., S'side, aged 73 years. Henry was born in Summerside on April 12,1933 to his parents, the late Chester and Beatrice ( nee Noonan ) Gaudet.
Dear husband of Jane (nee Fletcher) Gaudet and loving father of Rodney ( Rhonda Greencorn ) of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kayla and Cole , his mother-in-law Florence Fletcher and by his sisters Mary Johnston of Dartmouth, N.S., Sylvia ( James ) Murphy of Clinton and Barbara ( Douglas ) Ozon of Seaview, along with several nieces and nephews.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday for funeral service in the funeral chapel at 10:30 A.M.. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery , Summerside . Memorial donations in Henry's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday evening only , 7 - 9 P.M. .

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
