Obituary of Arsenault, Joseph Delore
The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor,Summerside on Saturday , June 24th ,2006 of Joseph 'Delore' Arsenault , formerly of 69 Duke St., aged 95 years. Delore was born in Wellington, P.E.I.on December 4th ,1910. Beloved son of the late Joseph & Mary ( nee Perry ) Arsenault and husband of the late Helen ( nee Gallant ) Arsenault.
Loving father of Shirley Clow of S'side, Irving ( Lilly ) of S'side, Bernard ( Austin ) of S'side and Donald of Brandon, Man. . Also lovingly remembered by his daughter-in-law Donalda ( Arsenault ) Perry along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his daughter Janice, his son Dougie, his sister Violet Kneeskern, his brother Edward Arsenault, his son-in-law Leroy Clow and his daughter-in-law Shirley Arsenault.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd.,Summerside until Thursday, then to St. Paul's Church, S'side for funeral mass at 10:30 A.M. Interment to take place in the church cemetery . Memorial donations in Delore's memory to the Wedgewood Manor Equipment Fund or to St. Paul's Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated. No visiting hours by personal request.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
