Obituary of Flynn, Lorraine Jean
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Wednesday, June 21st, 2006 of Lorraine Jean Flynn of Summerside and formerly of Charlottetown , aged 66 years. Lorraine was born in Charlottetown,P.E.I. on June 7th , 1940 to her parents, the late Edmund & Eileen ( nee Bell ) Flynn .
Lovingly remembered by her special friend Lena Arsenault of Summerside along with numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers and sisters : Ann Flynn of Edmonton, Alta. , Leroy ( Margaret ) Flynn of Surrey, B.C. , Joseph Flynn of S'side , Jackie O'Brien of Ch'town and Eugene ( Kathleen ) Bradley of Edmonton, Alta.
Besides her parents , she was predeceased by her great-nephew Curtis Gallant.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 A.M. . Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside . Memorial donations in Lorraine's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
