Obituary of Clow, Mary Georgina
The death occurred peacefully at the Loch Loman Villa, Saint John, NB on Wednesday, June 14th , 2006 of Mary Georgina Clow (nee Perry) of Loch Loman Villa, Saint John and formerly of Quispamsis and Summerside, aged 90 years. Georgina was born on November 7, 1915 to her parents the late Joseph and Mary Ann (Arsenault) Perry. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Alban Arsenault and her second husband Arthur Clow.
Loving mother of Donna Lee (Joseph) Arsenault of Quispamsis, NB, and Sandra Faye (Philippe ) Comeau of Ottawa. Dear grandmother of: Peter (Cynthia) Arsenault of Ellers-House NS, Philippe (Cindy) Comeau of Winnipeg, Perry (Mary Lou) Comeau of Maryland USA. Great-Grandmother of Andi Arsenault, MacKenzie Comeau, Ryan Comeau, Madison Comeau and Ethan Comeau and step-mother of Ann (Lester)DesRoches of Summerside and George (Joanne)Clow of Summerside. She was predeceased by her sisters Ola, Winifred, Cecilia, and Ella (Tuts) and by her brothers Paul, and Freddie and Arthur in infancy.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 10:30 A.M.. Interment to take place in the Church Cemetery. Memorial donations in Georgina's memory to Alzheimers Society or the Canadian Celiac Association would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday only , 7 - 9 P.M.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
