Obituary of Rooney, Eileen Mary

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Wednesday, June 7th , 2006 of Eileen Mary Rooney (nee Bernard )of Summerside, aged 70 years. Eileen was born in Piusville , P.E.I. on December 30th , 1935 to her parents, the late Art & Annie ( nee Arsenault ) Bernard. Beloved mother of Olive ( Gordon ) Ashley of O'Leary, Christine ( Rex ) Hodder of B.C., Geraldine ( Francis ) Roberts of Kinkora, James of Bedeque and Richard ( Diane ) of Jasper,Wyoming , U.S.A. . Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Donna Lee, Luella,Marie, Todd, Jonathon and Kyle, her great-grandchildren Josie Lee and Damian and her sister Lillian 'Lil' ( Ronald ) Bushby of Kamloops, B.C.. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Marie Aitken, Yvonne Bernard and Nora Bernard in infancy. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Memorial donations in Eileen's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society if so desired.
