Obituary of Crossman, Constance Winnifred

?The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital,Summerside on Monday, May 8th , 2006 of Constance 'Connie' Winnifred Crossman ( nee Rix ) of the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside and formerly of 22 Gerene Dr., S'side, aged 78 years. Connie was born in Springfield West , P.E.I. on May 13th , 1927 to her parents, the late John & Rosina ( nee Cain ) Rix. Dear wife of the late Elvin Crossman and loving mother of Nancy McFarland of Fredericton, N.B. ,Debra Wilson ( John Arsenault ) of S'side, Charles Crossman of S'side and Joseph ( Gail ) Crossman of Halifax, N.S.. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Saul , Matt & Faith McFarland, Alex Wilson, Michael Craig & Adam Crossman, her great-granddaughter Fiona McFarland , her son-in-law George Craig , along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents , she was predeceased by her daughter Lloydia Craig, her brothers Lloyd and Junior Rix and her sister Kathleen MacIsaac-Perry. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday for funeral service in the funeral chapel at 2:00 P.M. . Interment to take place in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley . Memorial donations in Connie's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
