Obituary of Gallant, Barry Daniel Lloyd
? The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his family at the Halifax Imfirmary, Halifax N.S. on Friday, May 5th , 2006 of 'Barry' Daniel Lloyd Gallant of 247 Beaton Ave. Summerside, aged 53 years. Barry was born in Summerside on February 3rd , 1953 to his parents, the late Sylvere and Claire Gallant.
Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Clow) Gallant and loving father of Kyla. Survived by his sisters: Shirley (Yves) Sigouin, Quebec, Roma Crossman, Summerside, Jean (Wayne) Farquhar, Yarmouth, N.S., Debbie Gallien (Steiner Ingezet), Dartmouth, Paulette Johnson, Moose Jaw, Erma (Rod) MacKinnon, Ontario, and Vicki (Jim) Clow, Ch'town. He is also lovingly remembered by her step-mother Claire Gallant, his mother-in- law and father-in-law Thelma and Camille Pineau, and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Barry (Eleanor) Clow, Miscouche, Dave (Darlene) Clow, Salt Lake City, Utah, Karen Clow (Brian Conrad) S'Side, Ronnie (Margie) Clow, Calgary, Cindy (Martin) Poirier, Mont Carmel, Janie (Stewart) Perry, Slemon Park, James Clow, Calgary, Richard Clow Calgary, and Greg Clow, S'Side. and by many nieces and nephews.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, May 9th then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 10:30 A.M. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Barry's memory to Kyla's Education Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday, May 8th , from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
