Obituary of White, Inez Lenora Jane
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital,Summerside on Sunday , March 26th , 2006 of Inez Lenora Jane White ( nee MacDonald ) of the South Shore Villa, Crapaud and formerly of Borden, P.E.I.,aged 90 years. Inez was born in West Devon, P.E.I. on September 9, 1915 to her parents , the late Leo and Florence ( nee Chisholm ) MacDonald. Beloved wife of the late Alexander White.
Loving mother of John ( Ethel ) White of Dartmouth, N.S. and grandmother of Gerri Lynn ( Craig ) MacKay of New Glasgow, N.S., Shelli-Dawn , Shawna-Lee, Kendra-Ann and Karla-Rae, all of Dartmouth, N.S. . Also lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren Jakob & Josh MacKay and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Survived by her sisters: Velma Ross of Ellerslie, Joy ( Pete ) Saunders of Ch'town, Leona Milligan ( Bill ) of Toronto, Ont. and Claudia ( Joe ) Pineau of North Rustico and also her sister-in-law Alma MacDonald of O'leary.
Predeceased by her brother Horace MacDonald, her sister Refina Murray and her brothers-in-law Keith Murray, Ronnie Milligan and Harold Ross.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 P.M. . Interment to take place in the Murray Harbour Cemetery. Memorial donations in Inez's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. .

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
