Obituary of Brennan, Mary Elizabeth
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, March 18th, 2006 of Mary Elizabeth Brennan (nee Gillis) of Wedgewood Manor and formerly of 59 Glovers Shore, Summerside, aged 95 years. Elizabeth was born on September 7, 1910 to her parents ,Wilfred and Clara (Hickey) Gillis. Beloved wife of the late Leo Brennan.
Loving mother of Claire (Joseph ) Robichaud, Rothesay, N.B. and grandmother of Sheila Stevenson, Catherine Blacquiere, Kim, David and Blair Marsh, Michael, Rick, Brian and Mark Robichaud, and 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her son-in-law Glen Marsh, her sister Annie Lawless, Kinkora and her brother John (Alma) Gillis, Cape Cod. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by her daughter Colleen Marsh, her sisters Helen Clough and Catherine Higgins and her brothers Hazelton, Charlie and Bernard (Doc) Gillis.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, than to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 3:00 P.M. Interment to take place later in the St. Mary's and Holy Family Cemetery, Indian River. Memorial donations in Elizabeth's memory to the Wedgewood Manor Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated. No visiting hours.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
