Obituary of Gallant, Mary Agnes
The death occurred at her late residence 4A Kelly Drive, Miscouche,P.E.I. on Saturday, March 4th, 2006 of Mary 'Agnes' Gallant (nee Arsenault) of Miscouche, aged 87 years. Agnes was born in on February 20, 1919 to her parents, the late Philibert and Helen (Gaudet) Arsenault. Beloved wife of the late Theodore Gallant.
Loving father of Wilfred (Eva) and Anthony (Claire) all of Miscouche and Ernest (Jean) of North River. Agnes is lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, her foster children Shirley and Donna, as will as several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother John (Anne) Arsenault of Bufalo N.Y. and by her sister Margaret Gaudet of Wedgewood Manor.
Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by her brothers: Martin, Joe, Anthony and Louis.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, than to St. John the Baptist Church Miscouche for funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Agnes' memory to the St. John the Baptist Church Restoration Fund or to Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday, 2 -4 & 7 -9 P.M.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
