Obituary of MacDonald, Ingham Blair
The death occurred suddenly at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Sunday, January 22nd, 2006 of Ingham Blair MacDonald of Chelton, aged 53 years. Ingham was born in Summerside, P.E.I. on May 9th, 1952 to his parents, Priscilla ( nee Broome ) and the late Lawson MacDonald.
Beloved husband of Vonita ( nee Arsenault ) MacDonald and loving father of Naomi & Nadine. Survived by the following brothers & sisters: Joyce Bramer of Bedeque; Olaf ( Lucy ) of S'side; Roger of Hamilton, Ont.; Lester of Borden; Lloyd of Vancouver; Nancy ( Barry ) Wright of Whitby, Ont.; and Ruth E. MacDonald of Crapaud. Also lovingly remembered by his father-in-law Nazaire 'Joe' Arsenault and his sister-in-law Darlene MacDonald of Borden.
Predeceased by his sister Elaine Perry and his brothers Elwood & Lowell MacDonald.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, then to Bedeque United Church, Bedeque for funeral service at 2:00 P.M.. Interment to take place in the Lower Bedeque Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ingham's memory to an Educational Trust Fund for his daughters, Naomi & Nadine would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. .

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
