Obituary of Gaudet, Mary Emily " Anna "

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside on Friday, November 18th , 2005 of Mary Emily 'Anna' Gaudet ( nee Chaisson ) , formerly of Miscouche, aged 91 years. Anna was born in Tignish on April 17th , 1914 to her parents, the late John P. and Mary Ann ( nee Mac Kinnon ) Chaisson . Beloved wife of the late Abbie Gaudet and loving mother of Jerry ( Anne ) of Elmwood, Marie ( Lionel ) DesRoches of Miscouche, Betty Gaudet of S'side, Esther Ryer of Miscouche and Andrea ( Laurence ) Small of Milford,N.S. . Also lovingly remembered by her foster boys , Wayne MacDonald of Hamilton, Ont. and Brian ( Judy ) Bernard of S'side , her sister-in-law Leonie Gaudet of Tignish,her 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her foster-son Harold Croken and the following brothers and sisters:Fred, Sylvere, Jeremiah, Delima, Mary, Sister Margaret and Elizabeth. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 10:30 A.M. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Anna's memory to St. John the Baptist Church or the Wedgewood Manor Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated.
