Obituary of Robichaud, Gary Francis
The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Thursday,September 8th , 2005 of Gary Francis Robichaud of Ross Corner and formerly of St.Raphael, aged 42 years.
Loving husband of Jacquie ( nee Adam ) Robichaud . Also lovingly remembered by his daughter Julia and his parents Harvey & Shirley ( nee Gallant ) Robichaud of St. Raphael. Survived by his sister Sandra ( Greg ) Mills of Ch'town, his brother Wayne ( Velma ) of St. Raphael, his god-father Pat Robichaud and his god-mother Juanita Landry of St. John, N.B. along with several nieces, nephews,aunts, and uncles.
Predeceased by his grand-parents Alyre & Julia Gallant and Antoine & Emilda Robichaud.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd.,Summerside until Monday, then to St. Paul's Church Summerside for funeral mass at 10: 30 A.M. . Interment to take place in the Notre Dame Du Mont Carmel Cemetery,Mont Carmel. Memorial donations in Gary's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society
or to his daughter's Trust Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours onSaturday, 7 - 9 P.M. and Sunday , 2- 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. .

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
