Erickson The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family at the
Wedgewood Manor, Summerside on Monday, August 1st , 2005, of Lillian Jean Erickson (nee Gaudet) of Wedgewood Manor and formerly of Bedeque, aged 72 years. Dear wife of Gary Erickson. Loving mother of: Eleanor (Barry) Clow, Miscouche, Debbie Arsenault, S'Side, Ronnie S'Side, Bonita (Karl) Kartau, Toronto, Mary Ransom, Toronto and Kim (Don) Christie, Toronto. Loving grandmother of Tammy Bernard, Shawn Erickson, John Kartau, Brandon Erickson, Alex Smith, and Stephen and Kevin Christie and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Ruby Gallant, Charlottetown, her brothers Edwin, Moncton, Albert, Charlottetown, and Elmer, St. Nicholas and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Horace and Mary Ellen (Arsenault) Gaudet, her brothers Frederick, Ivan, and Walter Gaudet and her step-brothers Austin and Leonard Avery. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, then to the St. Peter's Church Seven Mile
Bay for funeral mass at 10:30 A.M. Interment to take place in the St. Peter's Cemetery, Seven Mile Bay. Memorial donations in Lillian's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
