Obituary of Livingstone, Nelson Lee
Livingstone: The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital,
Charlottetown on Wednesday July 6th 2005 of Nelson Lee Livingstone of 63 Ferry Road Cornwall, P.E.I. aged 67 years. Dear husband of Donna (nee Cutcliffe) Livingstone and loving father of Stephen (Denise), Norland Ont., and grandfather of Brittany, Bethany and Bronwyn. Father of Sandra Livingstone, Cornwall P.E.I. and David (Jill), Jackson, Florida. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wesley Collicutt, Eleanor (Paul) Dawson, Ruth Cutcliffe, Peggy Cutcliffe, Beatrice (Doug) Patterson, Lois Thompson, Wendell Cutcliffe, Adele (Max) MacLean, Alger (Elizabeth) Cutcliffe, Gerald Cutcliffe, Elizabeth Flack and Lynda (Sheldon) Gardiner and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Lyle and Myrtle (Betts) Livingstone, his sister Carol Collicutt and by his brothers-in-law Gordon and Bryon Cutcliffe. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Monday for funeral service at the funeral home chapel at
2:30 PM. Interment in Crapaud Gospel Hall Cemetery. Memorial donations to the
Prince Edward Home, Charlottetown would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
