Obituary of Gallant, Aldona Mary
The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside
on Friday, June 24th, 2005 of Aldona Mary Gallant ( nee Arsenault ), aged 78 years.
Beloved wife of the late Fidele T. Gallant. Loving mother of Betty ( Donnie ) Gillis
Norboro, Tilman ( Deni ) of S'side, Paul ( Cecile ) of Ottawa, Ont., Zeta ( Clyde )
MacDonald of Ottawa, Ont., Richard of S'side, Eunice Power of S'side, and David
( Ann ) of S'side. Also lovingly remembered by her 17 grandchildren, her 12 great-
grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Survived by her sisters Annette O'Brien
and Jacqueline Gallant, both of S'side. Predeceased by her parents Albenie & Philemone
Arsenault , her sisters Sr. Beatrice Arsenault and Mary Thompson and her brothers
Gilbert and Azade Arsenault. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home , 245 Pope Rd.,
Summerside until Tuesday, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at
10:30 A.M. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery . Memorial donation's in
Aldona's memory to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Wedgewood Manor
Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday, 2 - 4 and 7 -

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
