Obituary of Arsenault, Margaret Rose
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022 of Margaret Rose Arsenault (Gallant) of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Wellington, P.E.I., aged 78 years. Margaret was born in Pembroke, Ontario to the late Joseph Gallant and Kate Bernard (Richard).
Beloved wife of the late Ernest Arsenault and the late Louis MacPhee. Loving mother of Diane Luce, Gerald (Wendy) Gallant, Robert (Geraldine) Gallant, Leonie Gallant (Leo Arsenault), Jackie Collette and stepson Timothy Arsenault.
She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Gabriel her Sweety Pie Collette, Jason, Jennifer, Jamie Luce, Jenna and Jacob Gallant, Jamie and Jelisa Gallant, Emma and Lucas Banman and many great grandchildren.
Survived by her brothers and sisters Geraldine Draper, Irene Perry (Freddie), Ralph, Louise Perry (Carol), Ivan, Roger (Michelle), sister in-law Louise Marchessault and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son in-law Paul Luce, brother in-law James Draper and several brother’s in-law.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday, October 3rd, 2022, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3;00 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Margaret’s memory to the Mental Health and Addictions or Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Due to family allergies please refrain from wearing scent.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
