Obituary of Myers, Lois "Marilyn"
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Lois "Marilyn" (nee Best) Myers peacefully on October 16th, 2022 at Provincial Palliative Care Centre, aged 78 years. Marilyn of Crapaud, PE was born to her late parents Gerald and Luella (nee Lund) Best of Tryon. Beloved wife of Sheldon and loving mother to Randy (Levita) of Crapaud and Donna (Dave) of Pownal. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Morgan (Derek), Robbi-Lynn, Zachary and Paige.
Survived by her brother David (Heather) Best and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her stepmother Beryl Best, sister Marie Best (George "Stoney" Robinson), her brother and sisters-in-law Jean (Dean) Profitt and Fran (Doug) MacKinnon, stepbrother John Craswell and grandson Anthony Coyle.
A special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Provincial Palliative Care Centre for their continuous care and support over Marilyn's final months.
By personal request there will be no visitation or funeral service held. A private committal service will take place at St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Crapaud at a later date. Memorial donations in Marilyn's memory to Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Canadian Mental Health (PEI division) or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
