Obituary of Sheila Ann Arsenault
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday November 25th, 2022 of Sheila Ann Arsenault of Summerside, aged 63 years. Sheila was born in Summerside to the late Melvin John and Mary (Murray) Arsenault.
Loving mother of Amanda (Anthony) James and Shawn (Kathleen) Arsenault. Also lovingly remembered by her 2 grandchildren.
Survived by her brothers and sisters Louise (Terry) MacTaggart, Donnie (Julie), Ronnie (Polly), Bobby (Karen), Frankie (Julie), Beverly (George), sisters-in-law Carol, Sandra and Debbie and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Alex, Charles, Shirley (Mosie) Perry, Dorothy (David) Jacobsen, Melvin Jr. also by her sisters and brother in infancy Virginia, Harold Thomas and Margaritta.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, November 29th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Malachy Cemetery, Kinkora, P.E.I. Memorial donations in Sheila’s memory to PEI Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. Visitation hours on Monday from 6 – 8 p.m.
ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
