Obituary of Mae Doris Cameron
The death occurred in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, P.E.I. on December 16th, 2022 of Mae Doris Cameron (nee Bradshaw) formerly of Albany, aged 97 years.
Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Cameron. Lovingly remembered by her children Lois (Paul) MacDonald, Margaret (Allan) DesRoches, Reginald Cameron, Diana (Linus) McIver and Heather Cameron. Special nanny to Ryan (Tamzin), Jonathan (Katherine), Sasha (Jordan), Aaron (Destiny), Laurence, Cory, Heather (Justin), Shawn (Laura), Garreth (Andrea), Kaley (Paul), and Whitney (Mitchell). Great grandchildren Adelaide, Archer, Harrison, William, Lauren, Bennett, Anderson, Cameron, Rhett and Jedd.
Predeceased by her parents Ellis and Adeline (nee Profit) Bradshaw. Mae was the last surviving member of the Bradshaw family.
A private celebration of life will be held. Interment in the North Tryon Presbyterian church cemetery.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
