Obituary of Jean Lavergne
The death occurred peacefully with his wife by his side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Saturday, February 25th, 2023 of Jean Joseph Elphege Lavergne of Summerside, and formerly of Shawinigan, Quebec, aged 62 years. Jean was born in Grand--Mère, Quebec to the late Elphege and Simone (Boucher) Lavergne.
Beloved husband of 44 years to Bernadette Arseneault and loving father of Frederic. Survived by his brother Pierre (Sylvie) Lavergne.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Memorial donations in Jean’s memory can be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Cancer Treatment Centre.
