Obituary of Anne Marie Gauthier
The death occurred peacefully at Andrew's of Summerside on Friday March 10, 2023 of Anne Marie (Arsenault) Gauthier aged 85 years. Anne Marie was born in Egmont Bay, PE to the late Florin and Marie Anne Arsenault. Beloved wife of Richard Gauthier and loving mother of Amie (Bruno) Cote, Gerard Gauthier, Yvonne (Bruce) Craig, Maureen (Wayne) Pye, Nicole (Ronnie) Clark, Angela (Jeff) Coughlin.
Also lovingly remember by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Survived by brothers Gerard Arsenault and Stan (Betty) Arsenault.
Predeceased her brothers and sistrs Sr. Marie Arsenault, Amie Arsenault, Adeline Sheppard, Theresa Costello, William, Victorin, Sr. Gerelda Arsenault, Joseph, Roland, Melvin MacIntyre and Alphosine MacIntyre.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday March 17, 2023 then to St. John the Baptist Miscouche for funeral mass at 1030 am. Interment to take place at a later date in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Visiting hours on Tuesday March 14, from 5:00pm-7:00 pm.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
