Obituary of Isabel Matthews
The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family of Mary “Isabel” Matthews (Murphy) at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, August 9th 2023, aged 86 years. Born in Seven Mile Bay to the late Gaberial and Lillian (Murphy) Matthews.
Beloved wife of the late Russell Matthews and loving mother of Wayne (Marcie), Ivan, Randy (Kim), Cory (Tracey). Loving grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her brothers and sisters.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Rd, Summerside, until Saturday, August 12th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment to take place in the Freetown United Cemetery, Freetown. Memorial donations in Isabel’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Visiting hours on Saturday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
