Obituary of Theresa Ann Rodgerson
The death occurred peacefully at Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary, P.E.I. on Sunday, October 15th, 2023 of Theresa Ann Rodgerson (Arsenault) of Summerside, P.E.I, aged 86 years. Theresa was born in Cascumpec P.E.I. to the late Robert and Olive Arsenault.
Beloved wife of the late Alfred Rodgerson and loving mother of Gloria Rodgerson, Dorothy (Ron) Ramsay, Judy (Bentley) MacDonald, Lynda, Tracy (David) Bruce, Rhonda (Dave), Eric (Morgan) Rodgerson. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Dustin (Brandi) Ramsay, Ashton (Janice) Ramsay, Landon Ramsay, Kristen Brown, Taylor (Christian) Brown, Lisa (Gord) Halliday, Michael (Stacey) Halliday, Christopher Warren, Rachel (Chris) Warren, Destiny (Aaron) Getson, Autumn (Rodney) Evans,Travis Bruce, Tyler Bruce and Jaxon Rodgerson as well as 17 great grandchildren.
Survived by her brothers and sister Emma (Ed) DesRoches, Leo Arsenault, Ray (Bev) Arsenault, Roy (Lois) Arsenault, sister in-law Jean Arsenault, brother in-law Joe Parent and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her siblings Edith, Mary, Ernest, Betty Parent and Eric Arsenault.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Interment to take place at a later date.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
