Obituary of Fred Arsenault

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday February 1st, 2024 at Andrew’s of Summerside of Frederick “Fred” John Arsenault. Loving husband of Vera (Lavangie) Arsenault, age 81 years of Miscouche, PEI. Fred was born in O’Leary, PEI to his late parents Gabriel and Emily(Gallant)Arsenault.

Loving father to Terry(Kim) Summerside, PEI and Ryan, Calgary Alta. Cherished grandfather of Brianna(Marius), Borden PEI and Kamden, Charlottetown PEI. Loving Grandpappa to Bradley and Coleman.

Survived by his sister Elaine Dodd, New York and brother Jack(Linda),Nova Scotia. Sister and brother-in-laws Anne, Monica(Gary), Leona(Vaughan),Regina(Victor),John, Judy (Arthur), Stephen(Elise), Bonnie(Cathy) and Isabel(Maxie, deceased). Many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Predeceased by sisters Jean Freimuth, Rita Griffith, sister in law Joan Fougere and brother in law Maxie Lavangie. 

Resting at The East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside PEI. At the family request there will be no visiting or funeral being held. Intermet to take place at a later date in the St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery, Miscouche, PEI. Donations in Fred’s memory can be made directly to the Diabetes Association or Charity of your choice.
